Zuki

ZukiZuki is the Cinderella of the house, underestimated, overlooked, but always cheerful, eager to please, and ready to go to the ball.  She has had to live in Mikey’s shadow ever since she arrived, but that has never bothered Zuki.  She is “here for the party”.  Life is good.

If you look at the gate sheets, Zuki is listed as Pooka-Aussie.  In Irish folklore, a pooka is a fun-loving, mischievous spirit.  Zuki has always been willing to step up to the start line -- even when she did not have a lot of training under her belt.  When Mikey was injured, Zuki jumped into the spotlight like an understudy just waiting for her chance to take center stage.

My goals for Zuki are very different from my goals with Mike, but I love competing with Zuki because it's an adventure every time we walk into the ring.  Agility can be enjoyed at many different levels, and success in agility can be defined in many different ways.

Zuki already has her Jumpers Masters and Relay Masters titles.  In the competitive 22” class, she has 14 snooker Q’s, one of which is a super Q.  She needs 1 more Master Standard leg to be officially MAD.  Will she get it this season?  Come watch the antics of this mischievous, playful pooka in the ring, and cheer her on.
